Temperature of the power plant would decrease automatically when overheated. Therefore, men have to take only basic action during emergency. The power plant is said to be breakdown-resistant. Living in A Globalized World: The Importance of English for Me

English is everywhere.
In this globalized world, English has become an international language. English can be found in some form or another in other parts of the world. English may not be the official language in all the countries, but many countries are teaching English as a second language.  It is the default language of Google and Internet Explorer, something that we are exposed to everyday. The Internet is something that we use very often in our lives. It allows us to stay connected to the world. Moreover, the articles that we read online to get information are mostly in English. Without learning English, we will not be able to understand what we want to know from the web. English is important as it allows us to stay connected in this increasingly globalized world, to learn from the internet about what is going on around the world. English allows us to communicate with foreigners when we are overseas. This is important to me as I am one who likes to travel a lot.

In Singapore, English is both the medium of communication and instruction in Singapore. English has become a part of our daily life. We will not be able to communicate properly with the people around us properly if we cannot speak English, regardless of it being talking or texting. The importance of English has been emphasized to us since young. The various subjects that we learn in school are all in English and it has always been a requirement to do well for English language since primary school.

Career wise, English is important as the basic requirement to get a job is to have the ability to write and speak good English. Moreover, there will be collaboration with overseas companies and English will act as a bridge of communication. Without English, one will not be able to do well in his or her career.

English is everywhere. One will only lose out if he or she fails to realize the importance of English.
